The objective of this research study is to evaluate and compare the human resource policies implemented by Toyota India and Ford India to establish an understanding regarding the impact of effective and efficient human resource policies on employee satisfaction that eventually transcends to greater customer satisfaction.

1.2 Project Aim

The aim of the current research has been drawn clearly by the objective section. The aim of this research is to study and analyse the human resource policies being implemented in organisations and the impact of improving these policies on the level of employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. The aim of the current research will be achieved by analysing the human resource policies being applied in Toyota India and Ford India and how these policies are upgraded to enhance employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. The analysis of the two companies will help enable the researcher along with the users of this report to understand human resource policies and their impact on employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction with respect to the automobile manufacturing industry. This research has been carried out by applying the case study approach to study the policies and any changes to these policies in specific companies of Toyota India and Ford India which are part of a specific automobile industry. The data obtained from primary and secondary sources will be studied and analysed to derive logical and valid conclusions from the research. The aim of the research will be accomplished by the analysis and valuation through case study approach on data collected from primary and secondary sources.
