From the analysis presented above, it would not be unjustified to infer that customer loyalty with respect to brand varies with the kind of business and the nature of product and/or service. Varying natures and scales of business are affected differently by customer loyalty. However, the significance for all of them remains the same since it is customer loyalty that eventually serves to bring in a large share of a company’s revenue. As numerous research studies have shown, it is imperative that brand loyalty be brought to a level where the consumer chooses to become an advocate for the product if the brand has to be made a success in the market. In order for customer advocacy to develop, Demand is a critical issue. Obviously if the customer demands a particular brand and in return receives the quality and economy that he rightly deserves, it is only then that the consumer supports the brand and makes up an essential part of the consumer equity of the brand and hence the organization producing it.
