The presence of a labour aspect has to be present in order for the development of a team to be justified.
This is because of the fact that team building may not always be the most beneficial approach to take for the organization. Generally stationary work qualifies as that in which assigning individuals work complimented with deadlines without the establishment of a formal team results in the job being done just as good. However, this does not mean that employees should not be given training to work as a team. Even in such cases, training employees to function as a team can allow them to provide higher levels of productivity through increased communication and feedback.
